It is necessary to consume fewer calories during the period
when the body is less active. The health of the body depends not only on the
food we eat but also on the time of eat, according to a new study from the United
States.
Columbia University in the United States conducted a study on
about 26 obese people. They were divided into two groups and given twice the same amount of calories.
Group A was given food with the daily required calories by 5
pm. Similarly, those in group B were given food with the required calories for
the day after 5 pm. Various tests were continuously conducted on the blood
sugar level, blood pressure, heart function and body oxygen level of the people
in both groups.
Surprisingly, it was revealed that those in group A were
healthy, while those in group B were in poor health. So, even if the amount of
calories in the food we eat is equal, it also depends on the time of day we eat
it.
It is healthy to eat
food that contains the calories we need for the day during the day. It is
healthy to eat moderate and very small meals at night. It has been proven
through such studies that it is healthy to eat nutritious protein-rich food by
5 pm every day.
Do not just consider the amount of calories in the food; we should also consider when we should eat that food. It is best to eat food that has more calories in the morning during the day and food that has fewer calories in the afternoon and evening.
