Ever since man explored space, there has been a search for
whether it is possible to live on an extraterrestrial planet, and scientists
first found Mars. Mars is the only planet that has been researched by many
space stations in the hope that humans can live on it for many years.
There have been
various sources of water on Mars, but scientists have found that all those
sources of water are frozen, but now new information about Mars is that water
is found in liquid form in the deep regions of Mars.
For a long time, researchers have been investigating whether
or not there is water on Mars. If there is such water, there are more
possibilities for living things.
The University of California, USA, has confirmed the presence
of water beneath the Martian surface. It is known that there is enough water to
submerge the entire surface of Mars to a height of 1.6 km, but this water is
too deep to be easily extracted and used.
NASA's Inside Lender
spacecraft has collected information about and studied Mars's terrestrial
rocks. It has been revealed that the hot rocks there are wet with water, and
this water is 11.5 to 20 kilometres below the surface of Mars.
Excavating such deep water is difficult because 300 million
years ago Mars must have been completely covered by water. Because Mars lacks a
magnetic field, scientists have speculated that solar storms that mix surface
water with the atmosphere must be vaporized.
