Excavations in the world are worth telling us various surprising facts.

The seeds usually remain viable for several years. Even though they look very ordinary and fragile, we can preserve the seeds even in a small box for many years.

They are normally dry but even after many years if the seeds are taken and sprinkled on the wet ground the seeds will turn into trees in 1954 there are no words to describe the quality of the seeds found by the archaeology department in Canada.

In a study conducted by the Department of Archeology in Canada, during excavations in a snow-covered area, the excavators found many seeds, which are the seeds of lupine plants. Lupine is a small plant with three leaves.

The seeds found during the excavation were taken to the laboratory, planted in pots, and germinated within a few days. To find out the seeds' age, the remaining seeds were analyzed by carbon dating.

The result of this carbon dating confused the excavator because it was found that these were not seeds from ten years ago or hundred years or 1000 years ago, but seeds that were formed almost 10 thousand years ago.

Normally the seeds are dormant in dry conditions where they freeze and germinate when wet. Lotus seeds can be dormant for hundreds of years in the frozen state and even after many years, lotus seeds can be made to germinate.

It was surprising at the time that lupine seeds survived even longer than lotus seeds when frozen.

Excavation is going on all over the world and it allows us to uncover information that we did not know before. Mankind is going to marvel at many more ancient wonders in the future.
