its success did they start creating test tube babies.
Today, scientists have gained the power to create any living
being, including trees and animals, in a test tube. We all know only test tube
babies, but scientists have created test tube trees.
In early 1983, botanists from England achieved a feat by creating a coconut in a test tube. An ordinary coconut tree produces 35 to 50 fruits per year, but the coconut variety created through this new test tube can produce more than 400 fruits.
The emergence of this new coconut tree has increased coconut
yield fivefold. As new varieties like this are developed, yields will increase,
while these varieties will be more resistant to disease and will yield better
yields.
