Ordinary light source is incoherent but laser source is coherent source. Coherent waves are exactly in phase with one another it does not diverge at all and are extremely intense.


Lasers have wide applications in the world. Many other field lasers in vital roles such as Medical applications, Industrial applications, Science and technology.

Medical applications

         
    Used in the treatment of kidney stones, and tumors in cutting and sealing the small blood vessels in brain surgery
Mostly laser beam is used for cancer treatment.

Industrial applications


          The laser beam is used to cut diamonds hard sheets, hard metals and melding





Science and technology

          Laser can be modulated to transmit radio, television and telephone.


          For communications, lasers have a vital role because the earth and satellites via laser. It's also used to range finders for detecting the targets. Lasers are also used in radar determination of distance and velocity.
