The origin of these rays remains a mystery.

Many things in the world are still scientifically mysterious and scientists cannot find the exact reason for it. Cosmic rays are one such scientific mystery. Every satellite launched into space usually carries some instruments, including a device that helps detect and measure cosmic rays. But the cosmic rays thus detected remain an enigma to this day.

Many years ago scientists observed a miraculous phenomenon in which they observed a slight electrical motion in the air in a tightly sealed glass tube. They closed various enclosures around the glass tube and when the air inside the glass tube showed electrical activity, many scientists began to investigate the cause of this electrical activity.

They learned that some radiation must enter through the glass tube and that it was a new type of radiation that we did not know about before. Various research was done to find out where this mysterious ray movement comes from. Experiments conducted by scientists proved that the radiation did not come from the earth or the ocean.

The scientists concluded that these rays do not come from the Sun either because day and night are equal on Earth. Then scientists sent a large balloon-like system high into space and discovered that there was mysterious radiation in space.

They discovered that throughout this infinite space, there was a new kind of radiation that came to be known as cosmic rays. What are cosmic rays, how do they form and where do they come from are still unanswered questions.

Cosmic rays enter Earth's atmosphere at speeds almost equal to the speed of light. These rays collide with atoms in the air, resulting in several particles that travel in the same direction as the faster elementary particles and collide with other atoms to form new particles called secondary cosmic rays.

Those particles also collide with other atoms to produce new particles. Cosmic rays do not cause any danger to the Earth, Cosmic rays have been coming into the Earth for billions of years and thus there is no harm to the Earth. Even today, scientists cannot say where cosmic rays come from.

The world has seen a dramatic change in today's space exploration. As space exploration continues, we may soon unravel where the cosmic rays we detect in the Earth's atmosphere come from.
