The atmosphere is the protective shield around humans so that
they can live peacefully on this earth. Air contains 78.5% nitrogen and 20.5%
oxygen in this air zone. The remaining gases are helium, neon, argon, and
krypton.
Oxygen is the main reason for the breathing of all living things
in this world. Without oxygen in this atmosphere, life would cease to exist on
this planet. The density of this oxygen decreases with increasing altitude. As
we go higher the density of the air decreases so the oxygen and density
decreases and that's why we have breathing problems as we go higher.
That means
mountaineers carry oxygen to breathe because the oxygen level decreases with
increasing altitude during mountain climbing so only a healthy person can do
trekking. Mountain climbing is very difficult for people with respiratory
problems.
The movement of the air molecules in this air shield is
moving back and forth, thus generating energy. The earth is drawing air in
rather than letting it escape because if there was no gravity, the air would
have flowed away from the earth. Our movement is also going on because of the
air we breathe.
Do you understand that the most important thing in this world
is air? If keeping the air clean is not the same as keeping our lives clean, the
environment where diseases can spread will become dirty. If the air is
polluted, the human will also be polluted.
This oxygen, which can be our breath, is taken as energy by
various cells in the body. The food material in the body along with the air is
transformed by chemical action and released as energy. After that, carbon
dioxide gas is produced in the body. It is carried by the blood to the lungs
and expelled from it by exhalation. Breathing is the act of bringing oxygen
into the blood through the lungs and expelling carbon dioxide as a waste
product.
We can survive for days without food. Even without water, we
can survive for a few days but without air, we cannot survive even for a few
minutes. If there is not enough oxygen the brain will shut down, the nervous
system will not work and the blood flow will be compromised so our body needs
good oxygen for the full functioning of the mind.
When we are surrounded
by a lot of trees and the oxygen released by them, not only our body but also
our mind will be clear. From our birth to our death this breathing must
continue or our life will not move.
Adults breathe 17 to 20 times per minute while children breathe 26 to 30 times. Breathing volume also increases during exercise and strenuous physical activity. Some studies say that an average human takes 50 million breaths in their lifetime. If we breathe it slowly, our life will increase. By practicing breathing we can get slow breathing.
If we want to breathe clean air, we need to keep our
surroundings clean. Fresh air should be in the environment where it enters our
body. Morning and evening walks should be done in the midst of well-oxygenated
trees. It is good to take a short walk in the fresh air after dinner at night.
It is better for us to
wear clothes that allow air to flow through our body than to wear tight
airtight clothes. If we breathe enough oxygen in the air we breathe, our
digestive power will increase and at the same time, no diseases will come to our
mind.
Even when sleeping at night, sleeping in a well-ventilated
environment is beneficial for our sleep and the human mind. When we have headaches
and respiratory problems, when we breathe clean air, all those health problems
will be cured because air is not only breathing but also a natural medicine for
us.
We have to clean this environment if we want to breathe good
air.
